New creation is the JESUS solution - the fulfillment of why He came to earth.
Jesus died on the cross to destroy the power of Satan over humanity, along with the broken life and fallen living he instigated and rules over. Jesus was buried but rose again completely victorious, opening a powerful new life opportunity for everyone. This is the new creation.
Soon after Jesus rose from the dead, He returned bodily to heaven, from where He sent the Holy Spirit to bring His new creation manifestly to earth. This is literally the coming of His Kingdom. The Holy Spirit creates a new spirit within all who receive Him, opening up a glorious new inner nature. The new spirit is a place prepared for Jesus Himself to come and dwell within, so that He can live and work in and through His new creation people. This is the "mystery" revealed - Christ in us, the hope of glory.
All those who experience this transformation, and welcome Jesus to take residence, become part of one new creation race, fit for eternity. This is His glorious church, His body, prepared as His bride. Jesus has been building this through the centuries, and in our day is bringing it to wonderful completion. The whole of creation longs for the final revealing.
The INN building vision helps people enter the new creation and flourish together in small-group communities that embrace the glory of new creation life. As part of a wider local church expression, the vision helps churches thrive in their calling and ministry.
The new creation is the Kingdom realized. It is a personal reality, but is expressed more fully through community in the Holy Spirit. In fullness, it is about "we" much more than it is about "me", as together we become a people of His possession. Entry into the Kingdom is through spiritual birth, into a completely new realm - His new creation.
